Mandatory Academic Qualifications: The candidates appearing in the SBI PO exams must be a graduate in any subject/discipline and should be from an accredited/recognised university. Candidates appearing in their final year examinations are provisionally eligible to apply provided if they are selected for interview, the candidates need to submit pass proof (evidence that they have passed final examination). Those candidates having dual degree certificates (IDD) need to make sure that they have passed the final examinations as per the bank rules.
Age Limit: As on 1st of April 2015 candidates should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 30 years of age. This means candidates birth date should be between 2nd April 1985 and 1st April 1994 (Both dates included).
Relaxation of age limit: The bank has awarded age limit relaxation for candidates from underprivileged categories.

5. People who are domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kashmir division from till 31st December 1989 from 1st January 1980
